Apple Cake

Apple Cake

One of my favorite cakes is the Apple Cake because it never fails. It always rises to look deliciously huge. Just like the Vegan Chocolate Cake, this recipe also runs in our family since ages. We always prepare it during apples’ season and we never have enough.

Ingredients

Ingredients
  • 5Eggs
  • 2 cupsSugar
  • 3 cupsFlour
  • Half cupMilk
  • 1 cupOil
  • 2 teaspoonsBaking Powder
  • 1 pinchVanilla
  • 1Apples (Peeled and cut into cubes)

Preparation of the Apple Cake

  1. First of all, preheat your oven at 180°C.

  2. Start the Apple Cake preparation by mixing the flour, the baking powder and the vanilla together in a bowl.

  3. In another bowl, whisk the eggs together for a couple of minutes. Afterwards and while still mixing, add the sugar, then pour slowly the milk and the oil. Make sure too incorporate all ingredients together.

  4. Once done, pour the liquid mix into the dry ingredients and blend for a couple of minutes until you have an homogeneous mixture.

  5. Finally, add the apples cut into cubes in the cake mix and fold them for a couple of minutes with a spatula.

  6. Transfer the mix into a buttered and floured cake mold and bake at 180°C for 40 minutes or until a toothpick or a knife comes out clean.

Advice

– You can conserve the Apple Cake for a maximum of 6 days in a covered recipient.

– For a reduced apple taste, you can grate the peeled apples instead of cutting them into cubes. It will minimize their flavor.

– This recipe also works out without any apples at all. However, if you are a big apple lover, you might add a big apple or 2 small ones.

I hope you enjoyed the Apple Cake recipe.
